To provide compassionate, equitable disaster relief through partnerships with churches, nonprofits, volunteers, and community stakeholders — ensuring help reaches the most vulnerable first.

2025 – Key Accomplishments & Impact Metrics
Disaster Relief & Essential Support for the following:
- Direct support to over 150 families affected by Hurricanes Milton & Helene
- Direct support to over 150 families impacted by Hurricane Melissa – Island of Jamaica
- Partnership with local 501(c)3 to distribute free supplies to over 900 families from Oct-Dec
Ongoing Assistance (Jan 2026 – March 2026)
From January to March 2026, ongoing assistance will support 40–50 additional families through gift cards for essential household needs. Nearly one-third of the affected households remain in temporary housing, primarily because 80% of them lacked flood insurance, which has impacted over 50,000 homes across a 4-county area.

Distributed cleaning products, health & beauty supplies, food & beverages to 100+ people — strengthening nonprofit alliances and community visibility. - Emphasis on strengthening verification partnerships with:
- Houses of worship
- County and city outreach staff
- Nonprofit referral agencies

From 2009-2017 as a 501(c)3 non profit, Unity in Disasters averages $103,298 per year from In Kind Donations with 98% toward direct
services with no grants and no paid staff in the following areas:
- Comfort items for infants and children: 150 children (2011)
- Hygiene kits, new clothes to individuals: 850 people served (2011-2013)
- New clothes, diapers, and furniture: 698 families served (2009-2016)
- Homes repaired: 131 homes (2009-2013) + (Debris removal 36 homes in Florida) 2016
- Weekly supply of food items: 5,414 families (2014-2016)
- Over 543,995 lbs of food distributed (2016)
- School kits: 400 students (2016)
Hurricane Relief 2017
- Supplies for over 200 churches in the Houston area – Hurricane Harvey 2017
- Received and distributed over 300 pallets of relief supplies – Hurricane Harvey 2017
- Served over 43,300 people – Hurricane Harvey 2017
- Provided over 93,000 lbs. of relief supplies to Puerto Rico – Hurricane Maria 2017
